Instrument Training Program

Instrument Rating - Helicopter
  • 40 Hours - Dual Flight Instruction
  • 15 Hours - Ground Instruction

An applicant for a instrument rating must hold at least a Private Pilot’s License.

FAA Medical Exam:

You will need to acquire a 3rd Class Medical Certificate to receive your Helicopter Instrument Rating.

Exams:

Written and flight proficiency exams will be required.
